GENERAL COUNSEL OF THE YEAR
Award Criteria
Demonstrated excellence in the provision of legal services and the management of legal resources - preferably supported by senior management.
Provision of outstanding leadership or direction in area/s of law or law-related management practised by in-house lawyers
Significant positive contribution to the development, enhancement, or success of their employer (for example, pro bono work or innovative practice measures).
Demonstrated ability to develop knowledge of legal matters or law not previously practiced - or acknowledged thought leadership of a particular area of the law.
All criteria are weighted equally for judging by the judging panel, so please ensure you address all four criteria points using a maximum of 150 words per criteria.
